For hook style canes:
-
Stand your cane upside down with the tip pointing upright.
-
Remove your existing tip, ensuring that you hook your Sensaball Hook Adaptor (SHA) or Sensaball Stub End (SSE) to the internal elastic.
-
If you haven't already done so, place the Sensaball on top of the SHA/SSE and gently push it down until it is sitting firmly on your cane tip.
-
Check that the Sensaball bracket is tightened on to the SHA/SSE by turning the bottom grip anticlockwise and the top grip clockwise.

If the Sensaball cannot be removed by firmly pulling upwards, it is secure and you are ready to go.

How do I care for my Sensaball?
Before going indoors, move your Sensaball in a circular motion on your door mat. This will remove any dirt from outdoors.
If your Sensaball becomes dirty, or does not seem to be smoothly rolling in any direction:
1. Hold the Sensaball under continuous running water.
2. Turn the ball until it runs freely again.
3. Dry with a clean cloth, tissue or paper towel.
The bearings are sealed, so dirt and grit cannot get into them.
